These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Vlok.ai voice booking service (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Vlok Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, with its registered office at The Oval, 57 New Walk, Leicester, England, LE1 7EA (“Vlok”, “we”, “us”).
“You” or “Client” refers to the restaurant or hospitality business using the Service.
Vlok provides an AI-powered telephone receptionist that answers incoming calls, manages table reservations, sends booking confirmations, and provides information to callers automatically.
The Service operates 24/7 on a reasonable-endeavours basis.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to interact with callers.
You acknowledge and agree that:
● The Service is automated and not operated by a human
● AI outputs may be imperfect, incomplete, or unexpected
● AI behaviour depends entirely on the accuracy of information you provide (menus, hours, booking rules, capacity, etc.)
Vlok is not liable for:
● AI misinterpretations or errors
● Customer dissatisfaction with AI tone or phrasing
● Business decisions or outcomes based on AI-generated information
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
A one-time setup fee is required before the Service goes live.
The setup fee covers onboarding, configuration, testing, and launch.
Setup fees are non-refundable.
Your use of the Service is subject to the following fees:
● Monthly subscription fee: £99 per month
● Per-person booking fee: £0.60 per person booked
● One-time Setup fee: £99 one-time fee
● Any applicable modification, add-on, or support fees
The subscription fee is billed monthly.
Per-person booking fees are billed monthly in arrears for the previous billing period. An invoice is generated monthly and collected by direct debit 7 days after the invoice date.
All fees are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
By using the Service, you authorise Vlok to collect all applicable fees via direct debit.
You must maintain valid payment details at all times.
Failure to do so may result in service suspension or termination.
You agree to:
● Forward all public-facing telephone numbers to the Vlok system
● Provide accurate and complete operational information
● Notify us promptly of changes to menus, pricing, hours, or booking rules
● Use the Service lawfully and in good faith
If call forwarding is misconfigured or incomplete, Vlok may apply minimum charges or suspend the Service until corrected.
The Service is designed for typical restaurant and hospitality call volumes.
We may restrict, throttle, or suspend usage where:
● Call volumes are abnormal or abusive
● Internal, non-customer, or non-standard traffic is routed through the Service
● Usage materially exceeds reasonable expectations
Additional usage charges may apply.
We may suspend or terminate the Service immediately if:
● Fees are overdue
● The Service is misused
● These Terms are breached
● A security, fraud, or abuse concern arises
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Fees already incurred remain payable.
All intellectual property rights in the Service, including software, AI logic, workflows, prompts, and related materials, remain the exclusive property of Vlok.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service while your account remains active.
The Service is provided “as-is” and “as-available.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vlok makes no warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, or suitability of the Service or AI outputs.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
● Vlok’s total liability in any 12-month period is limited to the fees paid in the previous 3 months
● Vlok is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity
Nothing limits liability for fraud or matters that cannot legally be excluded.
Use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is processed.
You are responsible for ensuring your own privacy notices inform callers that:
● Calls may be answered by an automated system
● Interactions may be transcribed
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time.
Changes take effect when published on our website.
Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
